Job Qualifications
| Minimum Requirements |

| Must have a PhD or equivalent Academic Doctoral Degree in Law or related field |
| Must have evidence of Academic leadership |
| Must have evidence of administrative experience |
| Must have taught for a least seven (7) years at University level |
| Should be at the level of Senior Lecturer and above |
| Should be proficient in computer packages |

| Be a link between the faculty and various professionals, other faculties, alumni directorate and institutions; |
| Coordinate staff and students recruitment in the faculty; |
| Ensure effective implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) in the faculty; |
| Lead the faculty in resource mobilization to ensure availability of essential resources to support faculty programmes; |
| Monitor and evaluate strategic and development plans, realistically and timely |
| Offer academic leadership to the faculty hence promoting quality research, teaching and community service programmes in the faculty; |
| Organize and chair Faculty Academic and Examination board meetings; |
| Oversee budget development and implementation as the Chief Accounting Officer in the Faculty; |
| Oversee timely processing of trimester examinations as the Chief Examination Officer of the faculty; |
| Oversee/supervise all functions of the faculty including formulating and reviewing all programmes; |
| Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor. |
| Present students for graduation; |
| Promote a conducive working environment in the faculty including spiritual and social welfare; |
| Promote professional development of all staff; |
| Promote unity, justice and peace in the faculty; |
| Promote University’s Mission, Vision and Core Values; |
| Represent the Faculty in the University Management Board, Senate and other Committees |
| Supervise and appraise the Heads of Departments, lecturers and administrative staff within the Faculty; |
