Job Qualifications
| Minimum Requirements |

| At least two (2) years working experience in a similar position |
| Certificate in Carpentry |
| Knowledge in Welding and Metal Fabrication will be an added advantage |

| Follows standard safety precautions, adheres to instructions when using power tools, wears recommended protective equipment such as goggles, hearing protectors and/or work gloves; |
| Maintain a schedule of regular blocks visiting; |
| Maintain and improve the integrity of the Campus's buildings and facilities; |
| Maintain the workshop and have an inventory of the carpentry equipment; |
| Participate in the execution of routine maintenance schedules for carpentry on campus; |
| Performs and completes a variety of carpentry tasks with quality workmanship to construct, maintain, repair, or modify buildings or facilities; |
| Performs spot checks on equipment to ensure proper working conditions, services tools and equipment as needed and return damaged items for repair or replacement; |
| Regular checking of University furniture and report any defect for repair; |
| Safely and efficiently operates a variety of power and hand tools to complete jobs accurately and to specifications: such tools may include hammers, saws, drills, planers and mortising machines; |
